Fun with Sideways Sock

I just have to take mindless knitting along in my purse. Even though I am committed to my TOP PRIORITY, The Great Sock Divide, working hard on the book, putting on blinders and ignoring the call of other crafts, polymer clay, jewelry making, knitting sweaters, hats or other garments etc until the book is complete. . . I am working on these sideways socks. So far, so good, basic stockinette stitch most of the time. The heels are in seed stitch and the cuff is garter. I also allow myself to knit on these for a bit of relaxation before bedtime. What fun!
This amazing yarn is the yummy Austermann Step from Skacel, with aloe in the fiber.
